Working Bikes Cooperative is a Chicago organization that collects unwanted bikes, fixes them up, and sends them to developing countries around the world.

We first talked to them in 2003 on our Global Activism series.  Now is a busy time of the year for them.  They are having bike drives all over the Chicagoland area to collect bikes.

And I checked in with Working Bikes Cooperative to see how they have grown since we last talked to them.

Nick Colombo is the general manager of Working Bikes Cooperative, he told Jerome some of the history of the cooperative.
