It’s Thursday, and time for our Global Activism series. Each Thursday we hear about an individual who’s decided to work to make the world a better place. Colleen Walsh was an undergraduate studying anthropology and focusing on HIV/AIDS issues in Africa. But she felt like she needed to see things first hand. A professor connected her with Faustine Ngrambe in Uganda. Faustine had started St. Francis Health Care Services, they provide medical care for people with HIV/AIDS and run a range of programs for communities affected by HIV/AIDS. So Colleen decided to go to Uganda and spend some time at St. Francis. She was amazed by what they were doing…
