Father Jamels James is Founder and Executive Director of Leading India’s Future Today or (LIFT). The NGO provides education and leadership training for children from various religious and social castes. LIFT USA also provides cultural enrichment, job training and life skills to help combat poverty, unemployment and disease.

Currently based in India, Father Jamels got his start here in Chicago as a priest at Old St. Patrick’s Church. Father Jamels says that the idea for LIFT sprung from having mid-life crisis.
