Each Thursday we hear about an individual who’s decided to work to make the world a better place.

Dr. Stacey Chamberlain is an emergency care physician and one of the founders of the Global Emergency Care Collaborative (GECC).   They helped create the first functioning emergency department at the Nyakibale Hospital in Southwestern Uganda.  Stacey helped start GECC after spending time working at the hospital. She and her colleagues noticed the hospital was missing something, am emergency department.
