Every Thursday on our Global Activism series, we hear about an individual who’s decided to work to make the world a better place.

Nina Dudnik is the founder of Seeding Labs. They support scientists in developing countries by providing them with reclaimed lab equipment, and  facilitate connections among the global scientific community. While she was a graduate student Nina worked at a molecular biology lab in the Ivory Coast.

She says she felt a bit of culture shock when she returned to the States, and headed to Harvard Medical School to start her PhD. She wanted to do something that would help the her colleagues she’d just left in West Africa…
