Dance teaches confidence, agility, and poise. But, what else does it teach?  The Bronzeville/Black Chicagoan Historical Society and the Polish Museum of America explore this question by showing how both of their communities commemorate important events through dance while expressing different cultural experiences. 

Join the Salem Baptist Church Spirit of David Adult Praise Ministry along with Wesoly Lud Polish Folk Dance Ensamble of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America in colorful dance demonstrations to learn how dance supports community cohesion, marks life transitions, promotes grace, and teaches gender and generational roles.
