Gov. Rauner: Optimistic Illinois Supreme Court Will Rule In Favor Of Changing How Legislative Boundaries Are Drawn
Governor Bruce Rauner says he’s optimistic the Illinois Supreme Court will rule in favor of changing how legislative boundaries are drawn - despite what he calls a “rigged system.” Last week, Rauner said a political machine controls some judges. But when asked if he thought the state Supreme Court could be impartial in its decision on the redistricting proposal, Rauner said he’s optimistic the court will side in favor of allowing the measure on the November ballot.
