Green Party Candidate for Cook County Board President Tom Tresser

Tom Tresser has been stirring the pot in Chicago for decades. You might remember his vocal opposition to Chicago’s bid for the 2016 Olympic Games. Tresser co-founded the group No Games Chicago. As a champion of the arts he’s worked for a long list of non-profits. Currently he teaches civics and public policy at DePaul University and the Illinois Institute of Technology. Now Tresser is running for Cook County Board President as a member of the Green Party. Cook County is home to huge government. The budget is in the multi-billions. Their responsibilities include running a criminal justice system, providing health care services and maintaining county roads and forest preserves. Like the other candidates who have visited our show, Tom Tresser will be answering your questions, so send them in now!
