Grant has been with the FBI for almost 29 years and he’s been the Special Agent in Charge of the Chicago FBI office for 7. He’s leaving September 3rd to go to Los Angeles to work security for the Walt Disney company, but it’s not like he’ll be disciplining kids who throw their popcorn at Mickey Mouse. He’ll be the Vice President of Global Intelligence, Threat Assessment and Crisis management.

“You have to think of Disney as a large corporation that goes beyond what the public probably perceives Disney as. It’s a global company and Disney is affiliated in many respects with American culture, American brand, so it has a variety of I would say threats to contend with,” says Grant.

Grant and his investigators worked closely with prosecutors under Grant’s good friend, former U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, who also left office recently. But Grant says law enforcement in Chicago won’t suffer because both offices are filled with great people. He jokes, “We will be forgotten a year from now.”
