Hip Hop with Webster

Previous Next

C’est qui, Webster? Born in Québec to a Senegalese father and Québécoise mother, Webster explores multiculturalism and promotes anti-racism through his music. Realizing the influence that hip-hop has on young people, Webster regularly holds lectures and workshops on relevant issues and the art of writing rhythmic poetry. This might sound pretty serious… but Webster is hip, proud, and loud, and he gives a bumpin’ show!

This program is possible thanks to the support of the Délégation Générale des Alliances Françaises USA, and the Cultural Services at the Embassy of France in Washington and at the Consulate General of France in Chicago.

Recorded Friday, November 18, 2011 at Alliance Française de Chicago.
