If you think your wedding band was great covering tunes like I’ll Melt With You or Dancing With Myself, then you’ve not heard Nouvelle Vague’s take on those 1980’s classics.

No Nouvelle Vague is not a wedding band but perhaps one the the top interpereters of 1980’s New Wave and Punk. The French duo of Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux have been putting their spin on The Clash, New Order, Blondie and The Cure to name a few since 2003, with vocals froma variety of artists.

They incorporate Bossa Nova, Reggae, Ska, Blues, Jazz into thier covers. For their latest NV3; they look to American Country and Bluegrass for inspiration. The band also got help from some of the original singers.
