A few months ago our summer intern Ben Craig
pitched us a story about a new sport he'd heard of in downstate Illinois. Apparently some creative sportsmen had taken to shooting invasive Asian carp with bows and arrows. He was interested in doing a photo essay on the new sport, but alas- he never had time to take a trip downstate to do the story. Now doncha know, the old gray lady has gone and done it herself
