Illinois residents can follow in the president’s footsteps and vote before Election Day. Cook County Clerk David Orr said early voting benefits people who have scheduling conflicts on Election Day.

“Since the U.S. votes on a work day, it’s important for people to have options,” Orr said.

Since early voting began October 22, approximately 127,000 votes have been cast in the suburbs.

Early voting ends November 3 and must be done in person, so check out our interactive map for polling places and hours. Click the pins for more information.
