Did you know that Ira Glass took it upon himself to give Liz Phair's band some pointers after seeing an early show of theirs at the Metro? Yeah, me neither. But apparently the band respected him and his radio show at the time (I assume it was The Wild Room
in 1993...) and really took the criticism to heart.
This all came out in the video documentary Phair made herself to accompany the re-release of her first album Exile in Guyville
