Joe DiLeonardi, Former Chicago Top Cop, Passes Away at 84

A Chicago police officer who served briefly as the city’s top cop passed away this weekend. Joe DiLeonardi, who served as police superintendent for just five months under former mayor Jane Byrne, died of heart failure Saturday night. He was eighty-four.
