K2 May be New Marijuana

An emerging drug has police officers and healthcare workers alike scratching their heads. K2, as the drug is called, provides a marijuana-like high. It's undetectable through regular means of drug detection which makes it even more difficult to get a handle on. And although it can prompt severe panic attacks, K2 is easily accessible, and worse—it's legal—which is making police work harder for the Chicago region.

Bruce Talbot is an alcohol and drug recognition expert and consultant for the Illinois State Police Department. He's a retired police sergeant from Woodridge, Illinois, a town without a gun ban.
