Kate Stohr is the Managing Director and co-founder of Architecture for Humanity (AFH), a non-profit volunteer organization that promotes solutions to global social and humanitarian crises through architecture and design. In this talk at the Museum Contemporary Art, Stohr describes how AFH encourages locally-inspired design and shares these solutions through an international network of professionals and open-source technology.

This talk was co-presented by Chicago Women in Architecture. It was made possible by the generous contributors to the Allen M. Turner Tribute Fund, honoring his past leadership as Chairman of the MCA Board of Trustees.

Recorded Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Museum of Contemporary Art.
