Kathy O’Malley and Judy Markey are a dynamic duo. These former newspaper columnists started a radio show, The Kathy and Judy Show, as an experiment. That experiment continued for 20 years. When WGN-AM canceled the mid-morning Girlfriends on May 22, 2009, colleagues were saddened and hundreds of loyal fans protested.
