Alabama Shakes perform “You Ain’t Alone” (ATO Records)
The Alabama Shakes are on a meteoric rise through the music world. Last September the band from a small town in northern Alabama released their first EP to massive acclaim. They landed the song “You Ain’t Alone” in a commercial and signed with a couple legendary record labels. They were one of the most celebrated acts at the 2012 SXSW Music festival and just before they headed to Texas we had them record a Sound Opinions session in our studios. Hear their interview this weekend on the show, but check out performances of three songs from their first full length album Boys and Girls now.
