Exhibiting Midwest Photographer’s Project artists Anna Shteynsleyger, New Catalogue, and Alan Cohen will discuss the aesthetic, historical and philosophical issues related to photographing landscapes marked by human history and tragedy. This discussion will be moderated by Joel Snyder, professor of art history at the University of Chicago, coeditor of the journal Critical Inquiry and author of numerous essays on photographic theory and history. 

Loaded Landscapes will be on display from August 16 - October 13, 2007 at the Museum of Contemporary Photography.
