Mayor Rahm Emanuel has vowed to make Chicago the most “immigrant friendly city in the world.” Part of his plan to do that is by establishing a new Office of New Americans in Chicago.  Last week, Emanuel tapped Adolfo Hernandez to head that office. Hernandez previously worked with the Active Transportation Alliance to promote biking, walking and transit options in Chicago.  WBEZ’s Odette Yousef spoke with him to find out how his one-man office will deliver on Emanuel’s promise.
