Retired Colonel Bud Day took the podium at the Illinois Delegation Breakfast at the Republican National Convention. Day shared his memory of meeting presumptive Republican presidential candidate John McCain at the Hanoi Hilton during the Vietnam War. Both were prisoners of war.
