America’s metropolitan regions are the economic engines for the United States, and the best hope to move the country forward. Our next president will start with a clean slate on the thorny issues that threaten the health and prosperity of all Americans. Unencumbered by incumbency, he will be able to develop new policies that respond to our metropolitan needs. At is 2008 Annual Meeting Luncheon, MPC features representatives of the two major party nominees for President of the United States to present their candidates’ plans and priorities for solving the most urgent issues impeding the nation’s regions and cities.

The keynote speakers for this event are surrogates for presidential candidates Sen. John McCain and Sen. Barack Obama.

Recorded Monday, September 08, 2008 at Hyatt Regency Chicago.
