On Monday’s Afternoon Shift, The Break Room features DJ Nu-Mark with the song “Tonight,” off of his debut album Broken Sunlight. One of the two DJ’s for the classic hip-hop outfit Jurassic 5, DJ Nu-Mark is known for his electrifying stage presence and cutting edge production. His debut release will feature his innovative collaborations, such as MC’s Bumpy Knuckles and Large Professor, and deep-rooted influences that will illustrate both where he is now and where he will go forward as an artist.

The Break Room also features reggae artist Jimmy Cliff with the single “One More” from his upcoming album Rebirth. Cliff’s soundtrack to the movie The Harder They Come (1972) helped introduce reggae to the United States and the world. He also starred in the film. Cliff is the only living musician to hold The Order of Merit, the highest honor granted by the Jamaican government for achievement in the arts and sciences.
