On today’s show Steve Edwards talks with a scientist from the Chicago Botanic Gardens who’s found that the seasons are changing earlier in Chicago than ever before. Changing seasons works as a metaphor for all the segments on the show: the turn Chicago’s music scene took in the ’80s, the change a neighborhood will face with an archetectural icon being demolished and the season of parenthood not lining up with finding true love.
