After two weeks in a creative workshop at the Modern Wing and South Side Community Art Center, participants in the Check the Method program present their poetry inspired by the artwork and writing of Dr. Burroughs.
The event is presented by the Collaborative Programs Subcommittee of the Legends and Legacy Award Celebration Committee. The Legends and Legacy Award was presented to Dr. Margaret Burroughs in a celebration on Friday, October 22, 2010, at the Art Institute of Chicago.
