2007 marked the 50th year of architecture at O’Hare by Murphy/Jahn and its predecessor firm, C.F. Murphy Associates. In the past half-century, the firm’s work at O’Hare, as well as at other airports around the world, has evolved from the corporate Miesianism of the late-1950’s to Helmut Jahn’s vision of an integration of architecture and engineering.

Recorded Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Chicago Architecture Foundation.
