By Chris DavilaSound Opinions is co-presenting the 3rd annual Music Box Theatre Summer Music Film Festival. It’s five days and nights of great music movies, featuring everything from breakdancing (Wild style) to Detroit punk (A Band Called Death) to the most epic use of air guitar in cinematic history (Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure). Join hosts Jim DeRogatis and Greg Kot for the opening night kick-off on Friday June 28th. Following a reception from 6-7 p.m., Jim and Greg will introduce a screening of the highly-anticipated new documentary Ain’t In It For My Health, an intimate portrait of the late rock legend Levon Helm. Then hop on a train in 1970 with Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead and Buddy Guy in Festival Express.
