A Chicago area family is suing United Airlines, claiming that the company discriminated against them because they are Muslim. In a federal lawsuit, Mohamad and Eaman Shebley allege that they had asked airline staff how to secure their child’s booster seat before the flight left O’Hare airport for Washington DC, and that the staff told them to leave the plane. Eaman Shebley wears a headscarf. United Airlines said it has “zero tolerance for discrimination.”
