Navy Pier job fair snarls LSD traffic

This morning when I got into the office everyone was talking about the Great American Job Fair taking place in Navy Pier's Grand Ballroom. The event was part of Good Morning America's job fair tour and featured a speech from Tory Johnson, GMA's workplace contributor. Though I didn't see it on television this morning, it seems the event was a big success due to the turnout. One of our engineers said it took 40 minutes to exit Lake Shore Drive at 5 a.m. I heard the event was supposed to go from 5 to 8:30 a.m. so I headed down to see if anyone was still there around 9:30. Here's what I found (I apologize for the loud background noise!):

UPDATE: A video on the GMA website says 2000 people attended the Chicago job fair.
