New exhibition draws attention to toy invention in Chicago

What do Beanie Babies, Radio Flyer wagons and the board game Operation have in common? All of them were invented in the Chicago area.

They’re all also part of a new exhibition at the Elmhurst Historical Museum. Toys in the ‘Hood explores Chicago’s past and present as a toy and game capital. Lance Tawzer curated the exhibition and recently took host Alison Cuddy on a tour.
