New publisher takes the helm at 'Ebony' and 'Jet' magazines
Johnson Publishing is in the midst of a 21st century makeover. The Chicago-based company is responsible for two of the most well-known African American publications in the U.S. – Ebony and Jet. But the company has seen some significant changes of late. Last year, former White House Social Secretary Desiree Rogers took over as CEO of Johnson. Then last November, the company sold their historic headquarters on S. Michigan Ave. On Feb. 15, word came that former OK! Magazine publisher Stephen Gregory Barr will now head up Group Publishing. Stephen Gregory Barr joined Alison Cuddy to explain what's ahead.
