The U.N. Security Council passed a new round of sanctions on Iran last week. The resolution bans Iran from pursuing “any activity related to ballistic missiles capable of delivering nuclear weapons,” investing in nuclear-related activities, and buying heavy weapons.Iran announced that it would reevaluate its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency. But despite increased tensions over sanctions, Western envoys are still working towards a diplomatic solution.
