In north suburban Libertyville the failure of townhome and condo projects is proving to be an opportunity for profit and innovation. The New Urbanism movement aims to create walkable neighborhoods communities where shopping, public transportation and parks are within walking distance. One developer’s plans to build this type of living in downtown Libertyville is explored in the Deal Estate blog at Chicago magazine.
