Everyone needs clean water to live but about one billion people don’t have access to clean water.  We’ll discuss the world’s growing water crisis with Rajesh Shah and Ann Feldman.  Rajesh is the developer of the Peer Water Exchange.
Rajesh is from Bangalore, India but the exchange has people from all around the world working together to solve community water problems.  Ann Feldman is the founder of Artistic Circles. It’s a Chicago group that does collaborative media for the common good. They’ve just released the documentary Water Pressures. It’s about addressing the water scarcity in Rajasthan, India.

The seminar sponsored by the India Development Service, “Water: Sacredness, Scarcity and Sustainability” will be held Saturday, April 9th from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. at the Loyola University Medical Center Strich School of Medicine in Maywood.  For more information go to www.idusa.org/seminar.
