Morocco is claiming to generate 13% of it’s energy from this thermal energy plant. And of course, miles of mirrors in the middle of a desert make for great photos. There’s a similar project underway in the Mojave. Hopefully we’ll have a photo gallery of mirrors on U.S. soil one day.
