No Silver Bullets: Unintended Consequences of Oil and Water Solutions

How have we managed oil and water resources throughout history? Have past "silver bullets" to problems in resource management resulted in unanticipated social, economical and ecological costs? What "slick solutions" will we come up with next? Listen in as two economists explain the difficulty of finding easy solutions to oil and water problems by looking at dams in India and the development ethanol as an alternative fuel.
