After the police killing of Michael Brown in 2014, Northwestern’s Center for Public Safety started a program to help fix police-community relationships through exploring implicit bias (or subconscious stereotyping) in cops. The director of the program, David Bradford, says police should be focused on improving the quality of life for everyone in the communities they serve.
