Obama Artifacts Might Move To A Vacant Suburban Furniture Store

A vacant furniture store in suburban Hoffman Estates is expected to be the temporary home of President Obama’s archives.

The building that used to be home to Plunkett Home Furnishings is expected to be the interim home for artifacts from President Obama’s time at the White House.

Hoffman Estates Mayor Bill McLeod says he thinks it’s a boon for the village, especially since 120 people will be hired to catalog and organize everything.

McLeod says the building’s been leased for six years, so it seems like there is a lot presidential stuff to sort.
