On Thursday, October 4th, Braziliance @Sonotheque celebrates its One Year Anniversary. For the past year, our monthly Braziliance party has showcased many styles of the popular music of Brazil. We spotlighted evenings of Samba and Bossa Nova, Favela Funk and Sampa Nova, and dedicated nights to the Tropicalia Movement and to Rio Carnaval. We even paid special tribute to Antonio Carlos Jobim. We plan on sampling from all our past Monthly nights to create One very special Anniversary Night. And as a show of apprieciation, CD’s of the best in rare Brazilian beats will be given out.
