In this Between the Lines event, Remy Bumppo Theater invites arts journalist Richard Christiansen for an insightful pre-show discussion of the play Old Times. For 45 years, Christiansen has covered theater, dance, film, the visual arts and a variety of arts and entertainment subjects in Chicago, the nation and abroad. His groundbreaking book, A Theater of Our Own: A History and a Memoir of 1,001 Nights in Chicago (Northwestern University Press, 2004) is an acclaimed and definitive work on the rich history of theater in Chicago.
