Donald Hallmark examines architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s Dana-Thomas House in Springfield, Illinois. In 1902 Wright was engaged with the redesign of the Lawrence family home, setting it as a showcase of creativity and prairie pride. Now called the Dana-Thomas House, it remains an icon of heartland interior and exterior design -a highlight among Wright’s 400 buildings in 36 states and Japan.
Recorded Thursday, December 17, 2009 at The Art Institute of Chicago-Fullerton Hall.
