One Earth Film Festival is all about the environment and the possibilities and challenges surrounding it. The festival offers something for everyone—from those new to sustainable living, to already ecologically minded folks, to families with young children, to teens and young adults. This year’s festival, #OEFF2016, features more than 40 film events in more than 35 locations throughout Chicagoland and neighboring suburbs, as well as in DuPage and Lake Counties. Among this year’s official film selections are: “This Changes Everything,” “Racing Extinction,” “The True Cost,” “A Farmers Road” and “Inhabit: A Permaculture Perspective.” Related weekend festivities include the Green Carpet Gala and the Young Filmmakers Contest awards presentation.
