“Out Takes” is the Access Living Arts & Culture Project’s annual Disability Culture Cabaret. At this year’s event, 10 performers with disabilities share poetry, spoken word, songs, and stories with the audience. Performers include: Gary Arnold, Pennie Brinson, Lily Diego, Mike Ervin, Emilia Murry Ramey, Jody John Ramey, Rob Rotman, Jason Sanicki, Greg Walloch, and Sandie Yi.

Access Living launched the Arts & Culture Project in 2007 in an effort to give voice and space to artists with disabilities and to share elements of disability culture with the broader Chicago community. The project includes a permanent collection at Access Living, as well as performances that are open to the public.

Recorded Friday, September 23, 2011 at Access Living.
