Palestinians and Israelis on 1948 and the Right of Return
Eitan Bronstein is a Jewish Israeli educator, activist, and Director of the Israeli organization Zochrot. Founded in 2002, Zochrot seeks to educate Jewish Israelis about al-Nakba, the Arabic word for "catastrophe" which refers to the 1948 dispossession of Palestinians.
Rula Awwad-Rafferty is a Palestinian American Professor of Landscape Architecture and Bioregional Planning and Community Design at the University of Idaho. Born to a Palestinian refugee mother from Qula, she was able to go back to the place of her birth only as a U.S. citizen in 2008, after 42 years of absence.
Ali Abunimah is author of One Country: A Bold Proposal to End the Israeli-Palestinian Impasse and has contributed to numerous other volumes and written hundreds of articles on the question of Palestine. He is co-founder of The Electronic Intifada, an award-winning online publication about Palestine and the Palestine-Israeli conflict.
