Gioia Diliberto’s book Hadley, about Ernest Hemingway’s first wife Hadley Richardson, was first published in 1992.  The book is being re-released this fall under the new title, Paris Without End: The True Story of Hemingway’s First Wife. The author joined Eight Forty-Eight to discuss her book, Richardson and Hemingway’s marriage and their Chicago roots.

Diliberto explains why this book still resonates nearly twenty years after it was first published, and what warrants its reissuing.
