Alfred Caldwell’s exquisite Lily Pool in Lincoln Park has been nominated as a National Historic Landmark - an honor bestowed upon only a select number of America’s most significant landscapes. The film, “Passionate Nature: Alfred Caldwell’s Chicago Parks,” was screened prior to this panel discussion, which features Lost and Found Productions filmmaker June Finfer, Chicago Park District Historian Julia S. Bachrach, and Gerald Estes from The American Institute of Architects, all speaking on Caldwell’s contributions to American landscape architecture. Sponsored by Lincoln Park Conservatory and Chicago Architecture Foundation.

Recorded Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at Chicago Architecture Foundation.
