Chicago basketball great Scottie Pippen says he’s confident in the Bulls as they head into Game Five of their first-round playoff series Tuesday night.

The Bulls are leading the Indiana Pacers, three games to one. And Chicago could clinch the series with a win at home Tuesday.

At a press conference Tuesday, Pippen said the current Bulls roster is young, but the players are maturing quickly.

“You do realize that there are other teams out there, there are veteran teams out there, that are in some way better,” Pippen said. “But you know that your team has shown success all season long, and you just hope that they can continue and carry the momentum into the playoffs.”

Bulls star Derrek Rose is expected to be back in Tuesday’s game, despite an ankle injury. If Chicago wins the series, they’d face either Orlando or Atlanta in the second round.
