The 22nd Annual Chicago Tribune Printers Row Book Fair is the Midwest’s largest free outdoor literary event featuring 150 new, used, and antiquarian booksellers and more than 100 captivating programs, including this conversation between John Callaway and Howard Reich, author of The First and Final Nightmare of Sonia Reich: A Son’s Memoir.
Sixty years ago, Sonia Reich was hunted by the Nazis in Poland. Today, she is living those horrible times all over again. Her son, Chicago Tribune reporter Howard Reich, sought to find out why.
