The head of a University of Illinois at Chicago department that relies heavily on students from Iran said the department is still planning to consider those students for admittance next semester. That follows a tumultuous few weeks set off by the Trump administration releasing an order temporarily barring immigrants from Iran and six other countries. Still, the head of the school’s civil engineering department said their position could change again. President Trump is reportedly planning to release another Immigration-focused executive order next week.
